Apartment One

The apartment with garden Apartment One is located on the ground floor, beneath the Vasari Corridor, and faces the large private garden of Palazzo Dragomanni, which is exclusively used together with Apartment Two. From the rooms, you can directly access the garden, which is a rarity in the center of Florence, and stay in absolute silence, surrounded by nature, art, and culture.

Palazzo Dragomanni is crossed by the famous Vasari Corridor, built by Cosimo I de’ Medici to connect Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi, and Palazzo Pitti. Within a few meters’ walk, you can reach the best of Florence: to the right of the Palazzo, you’ll find Palazzo Pitti and then the Boboli Gardens; to the left, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, and then the Duomo.

Apartment Features

Open the large French doors present in every room and you will be surrounded by an “Italian garden” equipped with tables, chairs, and armchairs where you can have breakfast or lunch in complete relaxation, away from city traffic yet in the heart of the historic center. The recently fully restored apartment measures 70 square meters, with 2 contemporary-style bedrooms featuring fine design pieces and 2 bathrooms, and can accommodate up to 5 people.

Living room with single sofa bed measuring 200×85 cm, dining table, Fritz Hansen armchair, and a well-equipped kitchenette featuring: induction hob, traditional oven and microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, and safe.

First master bedroom with a non-divisible bed measuring 200×170 cm, featuring an en suite bathroom with a shower cabin that includes: steam bath, chromotherapy, and various water jets including a waterfall effect.

Second master-double bedroom with two single beds measuring 200×85 cm, which can be perfectly joined. This room also features an en suite bathroom with a large shower cabin.

The apartment and garden are accessed through an entrance of Palazzo Dragomanni, reserved for the two apartments, from number 11 via de’ Guicciardini. Upon arrival, you will find a complete booklet with all the necessary information about the apartment and nearby points of interest.

Services and accessories included

Laundry room of 15 sqm equipped with a washing machine, dryer, sink, ironing board, and clothes rack. It also contains deck chairs, cushions, and other garden accessories. The laundry room is for the exclusive use of the two apartments; it is not inside the apartments but overlooks the garden, next to the lemon house.

Air conditioning and heating are available in every room, including the laundry room. The temperature can be customized in each individual room thanks to the presence of a digital thermostat.

Smoke detectors are present in every room, including the laundry room and the lemon house. A CO sensor is located in the kitchen.

Smart TV with internet browsing and access to various pay TV services such as Prime, Netflix, and others, available in both bedrooms.

Additional services: USB and USB-C wall sockets in every room, wireless smartphone charger, 220 V international socket (Euro and American), and LAN sockets for internet connection as an alternative to Wi-Fi.

Wi-Fi network available in all rooms and also in the garden.

It is possible to rent bicycles and park them indoors at the entrance of the Palazzo; the apartment booklet provides information on various nearby bicycle shops. Strollers can also be left at the entrance.

The private garden of Palazzo Dragomanni, covering 400 sqm, is exclusively for guests staying in the two apartments. Here you can admire many varieties of plants and beautiful azaleas in large Tuscan terracotta pots. The garden is equipped with tables, chairs, armchairs, and deck chairs. Access to the garden is allowed only during the day and on weekdays for garden and palace maintenance.

Relax room
A 27 sqm relax room in the old garden lemon house, exclusively for guests staying in the two apartments. It is equipped with a sofa, armchairs, and a table: Here you can spend time according to your needs, especially when the season does not allow you to enjoy the outdoors. It is an excellent place to read, study, or simply relax! The lemon house has an infrared heating system, which can be activated within the room, providing quick warmth during colder seasons. Additionally, it has an excellent sun exposure makes it very pleasant to use during dark winter periods.
